If it's like the US 2.0 sonatas the intake ports are in-between the size of the 1g and 2g ports.

What isn't great about them is that the ports are still centered with the manifold studs where the 2g ports have the floor of the port raised but the roof is in the same spot a the 1g which gives the air a better approach angle to the valve. If you want to use that cylinder head on another car you'll need to use the intake with it as well. Even with smaller ports I'm sure plenty of power can be made. Guys have made a ton of power with both 1g and 2g.

Also I believe combustion chamber volume is smaller on these heads than 4g63 so compression will be slightly bumped up if you are planning to use this head on a 4g63 engine

That’s good information mate 97egl
Do you happen to know if it’s true they run the same rods and the turbo 4g63 ? And is the crank forged being it is a 6 bolt crank?
Just trying to sort out what to use and what to throw LOL
Plan is to build a turbo motor out of it
