Ok As of now i have a Td05 20G turbo and i wanted to know if its a upgrade to this Hy 35 because i really dont want to swap my 20G ebay turbo to another one.
Can someone explain the difference between the two CFM's. Also the psi and HP it can hold.

You'd be money ahead buying a real 20g. You can probably buy a used one for what its gonna cost you to get that hy35 setup on your car.

Also, the HY35 is an odd duck. A huge compressor mated to a tiny turine, with a small housing. Thats a horrible turbo for a highwinding small displacement engine. Especially one that runs on pumpgas.

...but the HY35 has already trapped 133mph on a full-weight 2G running pump gas. Not sure how many 20G's out there have done that.

The wheel combination isn't all that bad on a HY35....not as much as a HE351 which uses the same turbine with a 7-blade HX40 compressor. Actually the HY35 is no more mismatched than a Garrett 60-1 compressor and T31 turbine.

Ya, one guy did that, that doesn't mean that everybody can. My point still stands. For anyone thats not an expert fabricator, hed be better off with a real 20g. Yeah, big power can be made, but sometimes thats not the best thing. The op looks newbish...the hy35 probably isn't for him.
