Anyone running the BEP .55 with this turbo? Is there any clearance issues with the water fittings to the BEP housing? Also does anyone know if it is rebuildable with a standard hx35 rebuild kit?

Most likely- it will fit as it would on any other HX35.

Pull all the bulky plugs and fittings, and don't run water to the turbo. It has nothing to do with lifespan or longevity unless you're prone to turning the car off immediately after a hard pull.

All HY35's, HX35's, HE341's, HE351's, and HX40's use the same parts kit.

I run this set up and yes there are clearance issues, you have to beat the water pipe in a bit to clear the compressor cover, or, they make flanges that fit in between your turbo manifold and the head to space it out so that you don't need to beat the pipe in. I just beat the pipe on mine and it works fine, no over heating issues or anything. and yes the rebuild kit is the same old hx35 kit.

Thanks for the info, but I was referring to the hx35(g) unit which is a watercooled turbo. Wasn't sure if it being watercooled would make issues when used with the bep .55
