So I have read some of the past threads on oiling a hx35 and I found this link for a head location oil feed line made specifically for a DSM running a holset turbo :
EXTREME PSI : Your #1 Source for In Stock Performance Parts - Oil Feedline Kit (Head Location): Mitsubishi Eclipse 90-99
After reading other posted threads I was under the impression that a head location feed line did not supply an adequate amount of oil for a holset and that it was best to run from the oil filter housing with an inline filter/restrictor such as the following:
Forced Performance Turbochargers: FP -4 AN Inline Filter
Then there is also this oil feed and return line kit from Tim's Turbos for Holsets:
Tim's Turbos - Turbo Rebuilding - DSM Oil line Install Kit
So which is the best way to go?
Does it depend if the balance shafts are still in?
Does the kit from Tim's run from the head or oil filter housing?
Thanks
