HVAC doesn't blow cold air..!!

Well eclipse lovers..

I have sum problems and i hope you guys can help me with it..

1: My hvac unit doesn't blow cold air into my intirior soo it gets freaking hot after a while.. (usuaslly drive with my windows open to ignore it)
and it is slowly getting on my nervse

2: If i stand still for a light orso with my Hvac blower turned off my heatmeter will walk up to around 70 to 75% within 2 to 4 minutes (i this cant be good right..??)
to get my heatmeter back to 50% i have to putt my Hvac heater on to max and just let it blow when i stand still.. or i have to drive the car and then it also will drop back to 50%.

Got any suggestions..??

Heatmeter? Do you mean coolant temperture sensor?

There are a couple things that will make you overheat like this.

1. insufficient flow through radiator, whether it be the coolant through the radiator or the air through the radiator. Not enough flow will not let the coolant come down.

2. Blown head gasket. Normally this is seen while cruising at higher RPM. Due to hot exhaust gasses getting into the coolant, the cooling system not able to hold pressure due to a bad seal at the head.

3. The fans are not coming on, so while sitting still you're not getting the flow through the radiator that it requires to stay cool.

4. Bad thrrmostat. Might not be opening up till a higher temperature than normal.

As for your A/C not blowing cold. That could be a variety of problems.

1. Bad/Nonexistent A/C belt
2. Low on freon refrigerant.
3. The door in the HVAC unit that switches between the A/C air or the heater core could be disconnected from the cable that controls it. Thus, giving you Heat all the time.

To at least tell if the A/C system is functioning, turn the AC on. Both fans should come on. If they don't you've already found a problem. Then, look at the compressor. If the compressor's clutch engages, you have at least enough refrigerant in the system to at least get cool air. If it doesn't engage then it's more than likely low on refrigerant. There is a pressure sensor that will keep the compressor from kicking on if it's low. This is because the refrigerant has the lubricant needed to keep the compressor functioning. If it's low the compressor will self-destruct.

I don,t have my airco in it anymore i've removed everything..
A/C Pump
A/C radiator
A/C lines
I use the A/C button in my interior for extra cooling at my radiator..

The heaterswitch inside is working ive cheked that..!!

Anything else..?

I don't think that hitting the A/C button will make the fan come on until the highside of the A/C gets to a certain pressure. With everything removed, it shouldn't make a difference at all.

Are your fans coming on?

Is your radiator cap any good?

Hoses good?

So you removed your A/C system but you're wondering why your vents won't blow cold air? I'm just making sure I understand that correctly. If so, then it sounds like your real problem is overheating; you should read ->PrOjEcTGS<-'s advice.

Even when overheating, if the HVAC selector is on cold, it should be blowing un-heated air. Check the linkage from the HVAC and make sure they're all hooked up and feel proper.
