I have 95 eclipse GS and was wondering if i could run a hose from my VC where the intake hooks up too, to a breather where the intake filter is(orange filter in pic.)? So kinda like a cold air intake for a breather. Would this be ok to do?

The purpose of the PCV breather is to allow filtered air into the crank case to help evacuate blowby; it doesn't haven anything to do with keeping the oil cool. Again, you could put the filter wherever you like, but it's not necessary or beneficial.

Velocitapoala is right man. Even if you do what you are saying it wont make a diffrence because the heat of the engine bay will heat up the tubing and thus heating up the air coming from the filter. Same thing with a cold air intake you could actually lose horsepower from it because the metal pipe gets hot and again heats up the air going into the engine. Remember hot air = air that is expanded and cold air = air that is dense.

As long as your Valve cover isn't blocked off your good, main reason for doing such a thing as you say is if you think it would look dressier. (holy shit dressier is actually a word!)
