humming

So when i press down the accelerator i hear a repeating humming noise coming from somewhere on the drivers side. I can feel some vibration in the pedals but its minimal. It hums for a second the goes away for the same amount of time and hums again. Its very quiet but you can still hear it. It only occurs when i accelerate and not during idle, or neutral. It seems to occur in every gear but i havent payed that much attention to it.

It could be your wheel bearings.

Tranny fluid seems fine. could very well be my wheel bearings, im getting new rims soon and ill have that checked.

Check the harmonic balancer on the driver's end of the crankshaft.

I really dont know how to do that . But i drove a 350z last night and it did the same thing! only it was a little louder! What the hell! . and i also noticed that it doesnt just do it when i accelerate, its louder when i do so but it does it almost all the time. Sometimes it doesnt even do it, idk its really puzzling me,.

Be a little more specific. Does it change with speed? RPMs? Just humming in general with the car running?

It seems to appear a little more at lower gears, idk it seems kinda random at times.it doesnt get faster at more RPMs. Anything specific i should try doing and see what it does?
