I was just wondering if this was possible. I do not have acess to a logger right now and my afc was showing almost 2200htz today. Just wondering around what kind of lb/min this is.

Thanks for anyhelp.

Because of the Ideal Gas law, you must have an accurate air temperature and an accurate boost pressure to translate these. The hertz is simply volume airflow, not MAS airflow. This is why there is a baro sensor in the mass air unit and a temp sensor in the mass air unit. Unfortunately, the signals from these three sensors do not converge into one signal that would determine mass flow or lbs/min.

Look up how to translate hertz to volume flow and then look up the ideal gas law, and you should know theoretically what your lbs/min is (after conversion factors that you'll need to have along the way)... Sorry if this is not a direct answer. It was really difficult for me to do, so this was just one more reason for me to get dsmlink:D .

A suggestion. . . tunerstein can log a gram/revolution number. This can be directly converted lbs/min with a little mathematical ingenuity.
