That turbo is awesome but I think it might be too much... The GT3786R on the other hand flows right above 75lbs/min ( made 730WHP on the dyno ) is what I might go for... If I put over 700HP my vq35 will need block inforcements and I'll start breaking more stuff... Thanks for the link !

Keep atleast an 8cm or that turbo. The 10cm housing works really well, thrust me .

OP, you're better off learning what works and doesn't work for your VQ35DE on a site that's dedicated to it (like my350Z.com). You can sit here all day and listen to people telling you what turbo is good for what but unfortunately it won't help in telling you what's been used and proven on your specific platform. Also, using info that's shown what's worked on a 4G63/64 won't help one bit either.

In other words, don't apply what you learned about DSMs to what you need to learn about VQ engines (trust me, I've been there owning both an '03 Z and a '96 GS-T at the same time).

It doesn't matter if the turbo is hanging off a 4g61, ka24, vq35, or 383 stroker ls1. . . A td06h turbine wheel won't get you even close to 700whp.
