Thanks! I'm getting close to getting it running but i still have some other things i have to finish up on the car before she gets rolling again. Maybe the end of next week or so.

VERY nice write-up man! Also VERY VERY nice porting on that adaptor plate. We would do the porting ourselves but that would just add to the price of the kit which we are trying to keep down while keeping quality as high as possible. We all know how frugle those 1g-2g owners can be! I know how ya feel, I can't afford an Evo either!

Awesome setup man. Also good work on portmatching the adapter plate. Maybe AMS could make the portmatching an option which will cost an extra $50 or so to save people the trouble if they have the $50 to spend? Either way, nice setup!

i still would have had to tweeked it thought to match up to the huge SBR mani opening.

yeah i called today for the wastegate flange that was missing and they are sending it out asap!

Wow that turbo is nice. Agreed, I love the anti compressor surge ports, make it look badass. Again, congrats man. Its nice to see a bunch of Michigan guys making big power. Enjoy, and maybe well meet sometime.

Does that adaptor plate allow you to install it without having to ding the waterpipe? Or is it the manifold that's doing that for you? Do you have it up and running yet? Can ya tell us how it's performing on the road? Spool times? How are the injectors holding up? Could you have gone smaller, are they not big enough, or are they just right? Thanks, and nice looking setup by the way.

The car is not quite finished. I've been really working extra hours at work. (I work at SRT....yeah, yeah, i know)

Anyways about the comment about "for the price you could have gone bigger"......Why would i base the price on what size turbo i should choose. I chose the turbo for my set up not my wallet. It's going to be a 95% street car and that turbo will be more than enough.

Yeah i'm pumped to get the car finished so i will let you know how things go.

What's this turbo SUPPOSE to spool at? Anyone know? I know the website says 20 psi by about 4,000 rpm. Is that on a 2.0? Or stroker? I couldn't imagine a turbo of that size hitting that boost by 4000 on a 2.0. Also wondering if they had a smim being that I've heard it can slow boost response from people like Leon (grndsm) and others.

Also wondering the recommended injector size (or minimum) you can go with. I'd imagine my 650's wouldn't last at all.

Yeah i will let you know as soon as its finished and tuned. The injectors they suggest are 850's and up. At least 950's if you plan on using every bit of the turbo. Which I'm not and i went with 850 FIC's.

5600 RPM spool with the .82 A/R housing on a 1.8 litre honda. 654 horsepower to the front wheels. Tell me again why he needs to go bigger?

So when does this turbo spool to 20psi? Definately seems like the advertised 4k is overly optimistic on a 2.0 .
