How to wire relay for FP kill whem alarm is on?

My new alarm has a starter kill feature which I want to use to kill the fuel pump instead but can't get the relay hooked up right. Do I need a SPDT relay because the standard relay I'm trying to use doesn't seem to do the job.

Should be an armed output on alarm. If it made by Dei it should be an orange wire off the main 7-9 pin harness. You would wire that output to 85 of the relay. It is a neg trigger. You wire 86 to 12 volts. You do not use 87. 30 will go to the fuel pumpside of the wire and 87a to the other side of the wire.
