how to view someones LOG

I've tried to figure it out, do you need a software program of some sort to view someones tuning Log on here?

What kind of logs are you trying to view?

ECM logs?
Evo Scan?
Palm?

is it a possibility to view each one? Just saying if someone posts a Log with like ending with .csv ?

very confused and new to tuning era, would like to learn.

I would assume if you want to see a ECM/DSM link log, you would need to have their latest software downloaded and then click on the log file which will bring up the log on the software.

I think those same rules would apply with evo/ceddy.

EX; your trying to view a evo/ceddy log uploaded, you will need their software downloaded to view their log zip file regardless of the format.

but for most logs ending with .csv I can use google drive into a spreadsheet type thing.

yeah cool, just not sure how to open files ending with .elg

google drive doesn't do that part.

.elg files are ECMLink logs.
You can download the software to view them for free on their website.

.csv files are viewable with most spreadsheet programs or any logging program that uses that format, like EvoScan.
