I think my cas went bad so I got a used one and tested both by turning it and listening for injectors. Is there a better way to test this from the shop manual? So far I'm getting no spark or fuel when I try to start the car.

i have exactly the same problem.

Haynes manual says 2 things, 1 check the CEL code, 2 check the voltage supply to the CAS/CPS, apparently if it check out correct, Automatically the CAS/CPS if faulty.
Procedure:
A> Disconnect the electrical connector for the CAS/CPS
B> ground your voltmeter
C> with the key in the ON positions and probe terminal 1, 2,3
D> Use terminal 4 and check continuity

RESULTS :Terminal 1 = 4.8-5.2V
Terminal 2 = 4.8-5.2V
Terminal 3 = 12V

This is where I need help, my terminal 1=11,1Volts Term2=11,5Volts and Term3=12Volts, Does this mean I have to replace my ECU or what could be the problem, I also have no Spark/Gas

Them lil sockas are expensive people, i would hate to buy a new CAS and ECU only ti find out i didnt need them

I finally broke down and brought it to the mechanic. I shorted something in the ecu and it wasn't tripping the relay for the fuel pump. The fix only cost me about $200, but this is from a friend who is a mechanic and it took him 2 days to figure it out. Hope this helps.

To truly test a cam sensor or crank sensor all you need is either a olciliscope ( best choice) or a 19 doller analoge meter from radio shack put the red lead on the signal wire to the ecu and the black to ground set meter to 12 volts as the car cranks the needle should dip to ground as the cam or crank sensor sends its square wave with a ociliscope you can watch the wave form hope this helps
