How to tell if its Ebay or Mitsubishi Big16G

I bought a TD05 Big 16g for 300$ along with a bunch of other goodies included (550cc injectors, HKS SSQ, ect...) I was curious how to tell if its a ebay or a real 16g.

Post up some pics and we most likely can tell yea. Does is say evo 16g on the housing at all? If it does its a knock off.

A real 16g has a has a bar code on it and says TDO5H on it while a china one has nothing on it

it does have a serial and it does say TD05 on alittle bar. ill have to go out to car tommorow and grab it out and take pictures. It sucks though because i drove 45min to buy this stuff, i got there and i lost all my oil or something. I had to get towed home for 175$ :/ But i made out on the parts so.

The ebay one will say evo III GT on it, I'm not sure about the MHI one though.

A simple way to tell if its an ebay one is.....an adjustable wastegate arm. If it has one its fake.

ya like the others said ebay ones say "Evo III" or if it actually says "Turbocharger" on it then its ebay too

Just wanted to chime in and say ive been running an ebay 16g to hold me over till i save for my FP30, and it really is surprising me. Its only at 16 psi, but it pulls so hard straight to redline. Shaft play is the same.Everything is good except i did have to fux with the wastegateSo far id buy another one if i was in a pinch. Oh yes i will be also adding some meth into the equation very soon and i will see what this thing will take. The meth kit is installed
