hey guys, I got a 14b from a guy who bought my 1g head as a trade plus cash, he said the turbo was in good condition when he took it off his car,

It has little to no shaft play, it feels real good and tight

The exhaust housing that came on the turbo was cracked so i put a 7cm housing on here recently.

My problem is that Im afraid that this thing is will spool oil into my IC pipes and intercooler. There was a thin film of oil on the compressed side and inside the j-pipe as well so this is why im afraid to install this thing

So is there any other way to test this 14b before i install it to see if it will spool oil and bypass the oil seal?

just thinking that it maybe could be blow by from the valve cover if the rubber hose was hooked up to the intake. because sometimes that blows a little oil if the hose is hooked to the intake and there is no catch can. im not 100% sure though. if there is no shaft play in and out and it spins freely well bolt it on and see how it pulls. can't be no harm to that.
