how to set up to use an external wastegate on a tubular manifold?

is there anything i have to remove or buy? i have a tial 40mm running off the o2 housing right now and i wanna upgrade to a tubular manifol

When buying a new mani buy one with a flange off the collector for a Tial 40mm. Look into DNP they have some nice ones at a good price.

you will have to get the hole in the turbine housing welded closed and maybe a dumptube to come off the wastegate

you could keep the wastegate on the o2 housing. and get a tubular manifold that doesnt have the flange for the wastegate on it.

well depending what turbine housing and 02 housing if the 02 housing is smaller than the outlet there maybe some gain.

If you mount the wastegate on the O2 housing then you have to port of the wastegate passage on the turbine housing to allow the air to efficiently get to the wastegate itself. If you mount the wastegate on the manifold, then there is no modification required to the turbo itself.

That last one that you are referring to, it to be used with either an internal wastegate, or an O2 housing mounted external wastegate. If you want a manifold mounted external WG, then you have to use the the one in the first pic.
