How to replace your throttle cable

1. Remove throttle cable end from throttle plate by turning it clockwise to fully open position and sliding it out of its mounting hole.

2. Remove 2 10mm bolts from throttle cable bracket located directly behind the fuel rail on the throttle body.

3. Slide throttle cable out of its mounting bracket on the firewall. (A shot of wd-40 makes this easier)

4. Remove 2 10mm bolts from the throttle cable mounting flange on the firewall located directly behind the rear windshield wiper fluid container and brake fluid resavoir.

OPTIONAL: ( you can remove the rear wiper fluid container and brake fluid resavoir to gain easier access) be carful not to break anything or pierce/pinch any lines.

5. Remove plastic clip behind gas pedal assembly. (Removing the entire gas pedal makes this very simple it's only held in place with 2 14mm bolts)

6. Light up your cigarette and finish your beer while you pull the cable through the firewall.

Replacement is done in the reverse order.
