How to remove the Cam Position Sensor?

I have 98 Gst 7bolt engine that is freshly rebuilt and im just swapping over all the parts off my old engine I need to finish it and I came across the cam sensor. Its the triangular one I wanted to no if there's a Special way to remove and install this ? Thanks

Im putting a new timing belt and new components so it's currently not timed so should I time it fist before installing the cam sensor.

It will be easier to do when the engine is timed and set at TDC.
