Resolved How to remove 2G High Rise wing

Alright so I've decided to remove and sell my stock GSX high rise wing. I've searched multiple forum sites to see if there is a proper/easy way to remove the wing. I cant seem to find any VFAQ or instructions. Just a bunch of forums debating whether or not to keep it on or take it off. I'm definitely going wingless. So if anyone has personally done this themselves or can provide instructions it would be greatly appreciated.

open hatch

look underneath hatch to see two 10mm bolts on either side that seem to be holding spoiler in place.

remove 4 10mm bolts........with 10mm wrench or socket/ratchet

lower hatch

pull spoiler off

plug 4 holes left by 4 10mm bolts

That's what I thought. I guess I should have mentioned in my first post that I did see the bolts under the hatch. But for some reason I felt that the wing couldn't have been held down only by those bolts. But I guess I was wrong. Thanks for the clarification.

after you take the 4 bolts out its gonna be held down by years of dirt and wax but it does really just pop right off.. your paint is gonna be ugly under there though so plan on welding the holes and bodywork/paint.
