Does anybody have the install intructions? I need the exact placement of the wing. How much space is there between the back of the wing and car? Side of Car? Or maybe a bird's eye view of the wing.

Personally, I think the stock location is a little too far forward on the car. Here's what I did when I installed my turbo style wing on my SPYDER.

FYI, some people have noted before that stock Eclipses/Talons have the mounting/hole points/flat areas already marked under the hatch ready to be drilled through. Since I did my install on a Spyder, I had no such marked points and had to decide where I wanted my spoiler.

1. Tape loose leaf paper to the bottom of the spoiler at the points where it will attach to the car. One standard size page placed on each of the bases of the spoiler worked well. Just place the paper until it is covering the mounting holes.
2. Poke your pen or whatever through the paper to mark the mounting holes on the paper for the spoiler.
3. Position spoiler on car in desired position. Step away and check out from different angles to make sure you like to placement. Measure disances to make sure you are accurate and even in placement.
4. In same step, unattach paper from spoiler and tape paper to car being careful not to disrupt your measured placement of the spoiler.
5. Remove spoiler with paper still attached to car.
6. Drill holes at points where you poked through the paper.
7. Open hatch and widen holes in the bracing where the bolt head/ratchet will go.
8. Mount spoiler.
9. Look sexy. :rocks:

That would be because you have a spyder? Those cars did not come with the high rise spoiler, only the coupes did.

Try searching, there are 986895875 threads about this, and if I'm not wrong, there is a write up in the vfaq/tutorials.

I took the measuments off the gsx, and then drilled the holes out. but XSNRGGST's way will be a good choice also, just check and double check(you dont want your wing crooked).

I used that 'tape paper to bottom of wing' method. I had a lot of trouble still lining up everything. I think I needed to tape the paper tighter or something. Also drilling up from under the hatch was difficult the rear holes for the wing were placed right where the metal was double thick. I might have needed to position the wing forward more.

There are several marks... Ugh.. Mine is too far back. I knew something didnt look right then I was browsing the gallery and im about 1.5in too far backwards. Its not alot but it makes a HUGE difference... I want to do a repeated self inflicted facepalm right now :(

back to life!!.... anyways i looked under my hatch because i to am installing the wing but i did not see anything...is it behind the interior pieces...did the 95-96 hatches even have these holes

Yes, It will be behind the interior pieces and there will be indentations of where the holes should be drilled.
