How to read this gauge?

I'm new to this stuff does any one know how to read this boost gauge? I'm not feeling to much power just around 3-4,000 rpm, but boost wont last, I got a small ported 16g apexi n1 exhaust hallman boost controller, and k&n cone filter. My cars an auto if that helps any, I getting a 1g bov in the mail sometime this week,any help I would appreciate, cause Im in the middle of nowhere only dsm here and about 3 hrs away from the city, thanks

Boost gauge is el series apexi , its reads from -1.0,-.05,0,0.5,1.0,1.5,2.0 when car is started it sits at -0.5 and while cruising it will sit at 0.5 , and hard accleration is at 1.5

Your boost gauge reads in bar. 1 bar is 14.7 psi. The negative numbers are when the car is in vacuum. If those are all the mods you have, then you are boosting more than you should. With stock fuel system, you shouldnt be much over 1 bar.

thats reading in BAR, i THINK i heard that 2.0 bar was like 20 psi or something....dont quote me on that, but i believe 1.5 bar is somewhat close to stock boost...again im not positive, but that is what i think .02 cents, if you will

jsut kidding im wrong

just searched and found that 1.5 is about 22.05 psi
