I know this should be very simple but I can't get the small wire with the slide on connecter to come off my starter. Is there anything special I need to do?

It should just unclip and off... there is one that is held on by a nut, then the other is a clip. Kinda similar to what is used for the coolant temp sensor.
So do I just squeeze it to make it unclip? I tried doing that with no luck from under the car.
...but no seriously be patient with it and it will come free it took me a few mins of spirted tuging and wiggling to get mine off
