how to check if fuel injectors are good 780cc ams

hey i have chance to buy some 780cc ams injectors for $50 but i need to make sure they are working properly and not a waste of money. i read that you can take a multimeter and measure resistance but what are they supposed to read? is there a for sure way to make sure they are in good working order. i have nothing done to my tsi as far as fuel performance yet but if its a good deal imma grab them for future. any help/advice is appreciated. thanks!

for sure buying a 2.5"downpipe all the way back from the guy for $50. been sittin in his garage for a year n he wants to get rid of it. my lucky day =)

fuel injectorrs are pretty simple and robust and long lasting. odds are they are ok and will need new seals if anything ($25 max).

If you really wanna check, you can blow on them(be careful, and apply 1.5 volts, A, AA, AAA, any of that type will do) when you apply, they should click, and should pass air. take away 1.5v they should seal.

The only thing this test does not account for is corrosion inside. They should be good to sit for a while, but not eternity.

I doubt 1.5V will do anything (I think you're getting confused with how to test the power transistor). Just momentarily (not more than 1-2 seconds) connect 12V to them and you should hear the click and pass air.
