Hey i just wanna make sure i don't mess this up. I'm pretty sure i have air in my radiator/coolant system. How do i "bleed" the radiator to get the air out? My car overheated twice earlier today after i replaced the upper hose.

Very carefully. You start it up, let it get to temp (leave the cap off) and let the water circulate. As the bubbles/pockets of air come up add a little water. Make sure to keep it full. Every once in a whileyou can squeeze the upper and lower hoses (remember they will be hot) to help burb the air out. Do this until no more bubbles appear. It can be a time consuming process, but getting the air out is a must.

Thanks! Got it all taken care of. It had ZERO coolant in...that explains the overheating.

Eric the car guy is very good. I've subscribe to him. Very detail good info. Also jafromobile on youtube. He deals with dsm's.

What I do is turn the car on if it's cold. Let it settle to operating temp. then turn the car off.
Drain the fluid carefully. After it all drains I would fill it up with water, close cap and start car til fans kick in again.
After that drain it again carefully cause now it'll be somewhat hot. I do this just to get any junk out!
To fill with 50/50 coolant I...
Leave the heater all the way hot. Defrost mode. I think my cooling fan is dead so it doesn't kick on its own. Take cap off and turn on car.
I would have my brother turn the fan on 1 (how dsm have 4 marks 1 being low and 4 being high) once in a while since my fan's don't kick in.
Poor coolant mixture in.
Keep topping it off as you will see coolant starting to fill the radiator system.
Once it don't go down anymore your fully filled.
If you keep seeing bubbles come up your head gasket is bad, like mines
