How to adjust Volk rear LCA swaybar endlinks?

Since installing my Volk suspension parts I’ve had an annoying left to right shift over bumps, especially on the highway. Clearly I have introduced preload on my RM sway vars via the endlinks even though I tried to eyeball them as evenly as possible and torqued everything at ride height. For those with Volk arms, how do you correctly setup the rear swaybar endlinks? Remove bolts, tighten from bottom?

Looks like you're getting crickets, so I'll try to help even though its been years 15+ years since I installed mine.

From what I remember setting mine up, I centered the sway bar and tightened it up to the subframe. Then dropped the car onto its wheels and adjusted the end links so that the holes would line up perfectly with the sway bar and the bolts would slide right in then tightened everything up and aligned it.

Level them out and install the bolts to the ARB. The side shift could possibly be uneven ride height and the use of ARB collars may be required to stop the side shifting. The ONLY time it preloads is when 1 side is higher or lower than the other side. normally it is pretty even.

If you disconnect both sides and on the ground/ramp does the bar match up evenly to both connection points? If so, then you're pretty level, if NOT, then your car is mismatched on ride height and this can be why. That is when you need to address the height or adjust the rodend height to suit.

Thanks Gents. Ride height is level. The right side did seem to have some preload. Loosened the nut on the swaybar to the end link, then used a 15mm wrench to adjust the bottom of the mount to give some free play. Couldn’t ever get it so that the endlink would slide in/out of the swaybar but made it so that it seemed correct. The. Tightened the 14mm bolt back down.

It is better, still a little weird. I honestly think my coilover is at the end if its life and contributing to the problem. Just didn’t experience this before installing the arms.

Couldn't hurt to put some lateral locks on your sway bar too.
