How should I go about this 1 ?

well i did a 92-94 conversion and i picked up a set of aftermarket HID's, I originally had popup's so the connection plug is different. has anyone ever had this same problem? I was thinking of simply getting the plugs I need from a yard and spliceing them in but i'm not sure if that would work all that well or be the right thing to do. does anyone have a better way of doing this that they can pass off ?

I just used a 92-94 plug (pigtail) and spliced it into the wiring from the old plug.
