Toronto,
Im running the BPR7ES on the road and will be using it as well at the drag race track.

Just wanted to know how often do you switch your plugs?
(track) Every Race?
(street) Once a month?

Thanks

Every oil change or so. I look at them once per month. They don't wear out that fast. In the past I'd change them after running leaded 110 since that would create deposits and occasional high RPM misfires.

Last year, when I was running a very rich AFR, I would change my plugs every other month.

This year, I've been running leaded 110 daily on a 12.1 AFR and I'll probably only change them once before the end of the year.

How often you change your spark plus is going to depend on a number of variables, such as fuel octane, engine tune, etc....

i change mine after every night at the track is my tune is off, when the track is closed for the season i change them every time i change my oil, and w hen I'm tuning on the dyno i check them after every run. Also a good plug to use that last a good while is the ngk iridiums, make sure you gap th em correctly and be careful doing it cause you can break off the tip.
