How much to list my 92 Talon TSi for

I think I may have put this in the wrong place initally. So here goes again.

Thinking of selling or trading my 92 Talon TSi but don't know how much to list it for.

Recently painted (amateur job), new KYB shocks/struts all the way around. New tires (actually just delivered sitting on my porch), new plugs/wires, and a Pyle in-dash dvd player (needs better mounting but functional). I haven't had it for very long, just long enough to paint it basically. I took it on trade for another car. When I got it the 16g was already on it, along with the FMIC and the turbo-back exhaust. The only problems are it runs rich, and the clutch will need to be replaced before racing it. The clutch is fine for dd. Oh, and the a/c is gone and the driver's seat has a tear.

So my question is how much would a fair price for this be?

If I remember right the mileage is like 135k. There is a reciept for an engine replaced in '08, mileage unknown. There is a crack in the lower front windshield about 6 inches long. Manual transmission (thus the clutch going out), and it is AWD. Heat and blower works good. All speakers are hooked up.

Just got a recirculation kit for the HKS BOV. This is originally a Tennessee car and doesn't have any rust.

But I haven't gone back and painted the inside of the doors.

Do some research in your area and try to price it around the competition.

cant put a price on someone else property. its a nice car. replace the clutch and keep it. or give me the fmic and ill give u m side mount and sell it like that...jk glws

HA! You two got jokes. I looked around a little on Craigslist. The closest thing on there that I saw was a guy that had a 2000 Eclipse with lambo doors. Not really the same car.

What you have to be careful with selling is that you got NADA and Kelly's pricing going against you. If you try to out shoot what both of these books are listing what your car's description is, since some buyers look at these two guidelines, that thing will be sitting collecting dust real fast.

What you're going to realize is that you need to come up with a fair selling price - forget of all the mods done since you'll never get the bucks that you put in out.

I've seen owners dump thousands in a 15 yr plus old vehicle, expect tonnage of dough in return and lose close to 80% of what they put in on a private sale.

I'm not going to do a suggested quote, but do a search on these two companies to give you an idea.

I bought my '90 Ply for $1400 with Kelly's had it listed for $1600 (NADA will go less on retail value with the condition that it is in..), and it has over $3k put into it - mainly a JDM replacement motor and tires.

..and you know that you're gonna have to come down in price with that bad clutch... and that busted up leather interior..
