hey guys i was just wondering how much psi I could run safely with 550 injectors. I have a evo3 16g and a wallborro 255 pump. I know i should get an safc but i just wanted to know how much boost i could run without having to control the injectors. Also how bad would the car run if i ran as much boost as i could with that setup and didnt have an safc.
-thanks

Don't even try it without fuel control. It will do more harm than good.

Also, you should work on getting an AFPR for that 255.

EDIT: Please fill out your vehicle profile. It will help us recommend and troubleshoot. Do you have all of the other supporting mods for a turbo upgrade?

Then you are overrunning your stock FPR. Do a search on the 255 and you will find alot of discussion about it. Its not a recommendation. Its a must.

It is also a must for fuel control to control anything other than stock injectors.

Don't skip steps in the upgrade path. Get the correct mods in the correct order and you will be much happier in the end.

If you go the SAFC route, then you are still going to need a datalogger to see if you are running lean or rich, and to read knock.

what happens if i dont get that afpr and just get an safc
It would suck, but how do you plan on adjusting the safc without a logger anyway?

edit: Damn you Shown. :)
