how much power can a 62-1 make?

all my mods are in my profile the only thing that will change when the 62-1 goes on is im scrapping my safc2 and maft for a maf pro and maybe a tial bov im wondering how much power the 62-1 can make and is it good for 10s? i know its good for 11s thats what my goal was but im thinking 10s now thanks for the input

62-1 is good for a hair over 600hp, ore than enough to get in the 11's, however I'm not to sure on what ti takes to hit 10's but i would think 600hp would put you damn close.

I ran a 62-1 stg V turbine about 5 yrs ago. I think it's a great compressor wheel, hits hard. I ran a best of 11.01 @ 131 with a horrible 1.8x 60 footers. The only reason I changed is because 26 to 27 psi was max. At anything over 27 and the compressor would surge. To bad I never got to try it on my 2.4, I bet it wouldn't surge with the larger displacement.

well i sent the 62-1 out for new seals and it turns out its not a 62-1 its a pte6152E so i was told it was bigger then a 62-1

still a great turbo. 10s are in the turbo, but it takes alot of tuning and driving to get it there

its a tad bigger, its basically a non ball bearing gt35 56trim compressor wheel

You would have liked the 62-1 alot more then the 61. I didn't care for the 61 all that much. I guess the 61 comes on real smooth, where as the 62-1 kicks you in the nuts. I would also say that 62-1 is a better pump wheel. I was running 11.7's on 93 octane at about 23 to 24 lbs of boost.

Oh, and quick way to tell if it a 60-1 or 62-1, it'll have 7 blades instead of 6. Most of the TO4E's, T series, I not sure about the GT wheels, have 6 blades.
