How much more work?

I have to pull my trans to fix a second gear issue, so my question is how much more work is it to pull the engine WITH the trans or is it easier to pull them seperately? Its a new car to me so i want to seal all gaskets and do a belt.

Its easier to pull the engine and transmission together

Takes about 2-4 hours depending on how fast you work and if you've got a buddy to help.

Since your new to the car, just take your time so you can learn your way around the engine bay and make sure to label all connectors and baggy all bolts

ok. yeah im new to the car, but"its not my first rodeo" I drop northstars on pallet jacks.

As said before it all depends on how fast you work. Just take your time, label connectors, and make sure you don't mix up the bolts. It's not bad just taking the tranny out itself. I did a clutch job in about 6 hrs on my 90 GSX, but that also included running to the parts store for new axles. The part store is only a few blocks from my place.
