How much hp will i gain from a FMIC?

How much HP will I see with a FMIC? I have a GSX with a Big16G turbo, 255lph fuel pump, 620cc injectors, etc...

I was thinking of like 24x12x3 or so. Also, could I install this myself, although I don't know much about them? What else is needed with the FMIC too?

But any way the answer is NONE a fmic wil net you zero horsepower. But it will allow you to make more power.

There's not going to be any definitive answer to your question on hp gain. It's all relative. I'm actually suprised that with your setup you aren't already using a FMIC. What's going to happen is your turbo will run more efficiently, and your car will probably run a little hotter (due to airflow restrictions). It's also a matter of piping size and how you do the routing. You obviously don't want to go too big because you'll see a huge pressure drop. Then your turbo will be less efficient.

Do some searching on what other setups have been used on cars like yours. (with your turbo, fuel system, etc.) When you buy your FMIC, make sure you buy a kit that comes with the piping. Altogether, you'll need the FMIC, upper IC piping and lower IC piping. Then it's basically up to you to do the routing and bolting on.

Bench racing is basically, "Can my buddy's __________beat my buddy's ________?" or "How much hp will I get by sticking a hampster in my intake manifold?"

Ok, thanks for the information sumenlo. I bought the car with the mods on it, and haven't had it for more than 2weeks. I just got my paycheck from seasonal employment, and since I don't owe income tax was thinking of putting one of these on to improve my car. Plus, they look cool.

In your case, asking how much power will I gain if I.....? No one can answer that question except for a dyno. This is the second thread, please don't make it 3.
