I bought a 1991 Eclipse GSX 5speed for $1,700 2 years ago. It needed rad cap, a couple hoses, and the o-ring behind the oil filter replaced. Had new tires and brakes all around.

91 laser $650 all it needed was an ecu,i got that for $100.since then i got over $5000 in it,and still buyin stuff...LOL :D

I got my 92 Talon for 200 bucks from a friend who would rather have seen it be fixed than go to a junkyard. All it needed was a timing belt, valve job, new driver side fender, 2 dents pulled and a paint job. Having friends that own a paint and body shop really helps too!!

just picked up a 94 Talon ES with 92k miles on it the other day for 250 bucks. Runs and drives but makes a horrible noise when ever the car is running(somethings broken between the trans and the engine, the trans is on an angle to the engine). Just another parts car.

I paid 2900 for a '90 GSX about 2 months ago that already had a Shep Tranny rebuild in it with low miles. By the end of July will have about $5000 total in it with the new turbo.

:dsm:

Back in 1998 $12,000 for a '96 Eclipse RS. By the the time my current engine swap is complete and all suspension mods I have already done $17,500-ish for the total budget spent. This doesn't include maintenance. :toobad: :dsm:

92 gs w/ like 66k 2,000 mint interior and exterior... drove that car like a beast... it was wonderful... god I destroyed it :sosad:

92 gs w/ 90k or so for about 1,000. Perfect everything.. crashed it..(not my fault) WHen they "totalled it out" I got 2,467 bucks or somethin like that... way more then I expected.

96 gst spyder w/ 100k and a warrenty for 7500 for the car and 1200 for the warrenty (now trying to sell for 75 lemme know if interested, i'll negotiate bigtime) Better shape then the first two eclipses I had by far, inside and out.

95 GSX w/ 100 somethin on the body and 32k on the engine.. don't have it yet but its got a brand new paint job, tvs, flip out, new engine, sounds really good, 7 for that one.

$2400 for my 98 GSX with 80,000 miles, it had been in a minor accident and cost about $2000 for parts and a couple weekends to fix.
The day before I bought it, I made an offer for $11,000 for another car the exact same year, color, and options with 90,000 miles to a dealer and he said no way $13,000 was the best he could do. A total savings of over $6,000 what a deal. Instead of $400 monthly payments I'm doing $400 monthly upgrades LOL

i paid $500 for my 90 tsi AWD and its in decent condition (needed a new tail light and spoiler) it has 155k miles on it but it runs and drives great. just needs some TLC

I paid $300 dollars for my 91 Eagle Talon TSi AWD A/T that was a timing belt victim, 3 years ago.

Paid another $500 for a working long block with good compression to get it running.

Since them I've swapped it to a 92 style TRE fully built tranny with a RRE clutch and Fidanza flywheel, rebuilt the engine with all oem internals over then Wiseco pistons and rebuild the head.

Bunch of upgrades and mods on top of that, most of which are listed in my profile.

just got a 95 stock GSX that has only 74K orginal miles, perfect condition i am the 3rd owner other 2 owners were females i payed $4000

Hmm... I payed 4k for a 95 Talon TSI FWD. I got the car with about 100 miles after a rebuild 2g block/head. Feb 05. There's now 5 thousand with of repairs and mods in my car. LOL
