i paid $300 for my 93 eclipse with a 2.0l rebuilt with performance pistons good paint and body new tires but with a blown tranny.... cost me $200 to get that fixed :thumb:

I haven't even bought mine yet. I like looked at prices in the US, but I live in the shittiest country in the world when it comes to cars.

If the specs on a eclipse are 1400kg, 1997ccm, 109kw and a 97 or something like that, when the original price is about 6000 USD the price in norway will be about 23720 USD, without freight.

Now, if I buy an eclipse with 400hp at the cost of 11000 USD, the total price will be 40958 USD, without freight here.

Let me describe my current feelings...
 :(  WTF :notgood: :toobad: :barf: :sosad:

But, I'm working and saving, untill then, I'll drive my SAAB proudly...

$1,500.00 USD. Blue 1990 Eagle Talon TSI AWD w/ sunroof. 106,000 miles on the chassis and original engine.

200 $$ for complete car minus the engine ... has complete wiring harness, 5 spd tranny, complete interior, no dents, and some perty rims .. .
bought my motor for a smooth 1k, complete :thumb:

Bought my 91 TSI AWD from a wrecking yard for $500 complete. It wouldn't run because they had put a 2G gasket set in it. 4 huge vacuum leaks. Put $5000 in mods in it, ran 11s, sold it for $5000 before it broke. Kind of an expensive education , but education IS expensive.

$500 bucks - Tranny needed replaced and turbo needed rebuilt. If I never would of come across this car in my small town I would of never probably owned a DSM but now I dont know how i survived without it!! I mean what else would I of done with all my spare time, I wouldn't have a car that constantly breaks to take all my time to fix it LOL............
