In 2003 I paid $4600 for a 95 GSX 106k mi w/ IC pipe upgrade HKS SSQV BOV and exhaust. In 2006 I paid $5000 for a 98 GST 64k mi needed clutch, and two weeks ago I got my 3rd DSM, another 95 GSX for $2500. It needs some TLC and has the normal bolt-ons.(first gear pops out occasionally, and smoke is coming from hopefully the turbo). Also feels like the front springs are cut, but "supposedly" has skunk2 coilovers.

I just saw a unicorn locally a few weeks ago, 32k miles 2gb eclipse looked like it had just left the dealership.

There is one in my neighborhood as well with 23k on a 99gsx but they want 12k for it. Not an unfair price but I don't see it going anywhere anytime soon.

92 Eagle Talon Tsi, for $300 off an older guy. 100K original miles. She's been sitting for a little over a year, so the suspension needs a little TLC .. but runs and drives fine.

Here she is being worked on, this past weekend:

My 91 Talon TSi AWD automatic, which was my first car, I paid $1900 for it. I found it on craigslist and was originally searching for DA integras at the time (2009). I drove that for about 3 years till it crapped out in early 2011. While I was fixing/building the 91 I decided I needed another car to drive so what better than a rusty old 1990 TSi AWD 5 speed ($1200) from upper Michigan? It was my first manual transmission car and is my current daily driver, and it has also been fairly reliable too. Back in May 2013 I picked up my 3rd DSM (92 AWD TSi 6/4 combo) for $950 not running and had it towed to my house. My friend and I got lucky cause the car only had a few electrical and mechanical problems that had to be fixed now it runs great! Just needs a transmission cause second gear is shot from the previous owner drag racing but over all it's a great car and has only minor surface rust on the hatch.

$1400 97 Tsi AWD. Rusted rockers (fixed).. Spun bearing on evo3 engine. Lots of money dumped into this before I bought it. Figuring out the mess of aftermarket wiring will be the hardest part.

1993 Eagle Talon Auto Awd Green 63k miles complete minus exhaust, radiator, cas, ecu and misc nuts and bolts.

$700. Pictures in profile after about $1900 in work and a 6 bolt swap.
