How much can I expect? Part out

Looking to pick up a 95 GS-T with a 20G and what the guy thinks a broken rod, he said its knocking because he threw on the 20G with no supporting mods. I was wondering what I can expect to get out of it if I bought it and parted it out. I will probably keep the 20G though. Thanks.

Looks like the price for part-outs down here in the bay. Maybe lower the price on the Eprom ECU a little, depends on how long you're willing to sit on it.

I would want to get rid of it asap. Could probably pick up the car for $1900. If I break even and get to keep the 20G that would be great.

If it has a rod knock there may be metal in the oil, which could have damaged the turbo. Ask him if there was a oil filter on the oil feed line to the turbo.

A busted 2g GST with no mods. Don't even bother... unless you get it for $200. Even then you will be sitting on alot of these parts for months.

yeah i got a busted gst for 2500. Thank good it came with everything i need to run close to 350 hp. Just needed a motor.

$1900 is way to much for that. A local sold a 97 with 101k on it with rod knock and a 20g setup for 900 last weekend. The guy drove it from his house.

Normally you would want to part out a car if #1 you have space to put it for a long time #2 You got it for cheap/free because someone didn't have the space #3 because you can use the parts in your car. I would say since it wasn't free ,or the price of the parts your keeping off it, that it would be a waste of time, space and money.

I'm parting my car right now.

It takes a long time and for that price it would not be worth your time at all..
After I get done with my car I'm parting a gst out but thats because I can pick it up for 250
Why not just ask him to sell you the turbo???
