So for now I'm done with modding the engine and need to work on the most important thing... TUNING! My next mod is going to be dsmlink, but I was just wondering what most of you guys that have it paid. I have a 97' gsx so I'm going to need:

95' EPROM ecu... $250-$300
DSMLink V2 package w/socket service... $645
Decent laptop... $300

So all that adds up to be right around the ballpark of $1200. Is that what most of you have paid for dsmlink??

Those are all prices that you could expect to pay in the extreme case.

All of the items can be found cheaper, you just have to look and wait for someone selling what you are looking for.

I JUST got dsmlink in the mail...like 2 days ago, my cost :

625 (for DSMLink shipped(2nd day air))
laptop-free (older brother gave it to me)
EProm ECU - free (I have a '95)
Socket - Free (THANKS JOHN!) but can be had for a whopping $.69 at fry's electronics.
Socketting service (one case of beer :)

If your having them socket your ECU add in another $30 for shipping. I would avoid sending it UPS ground, send it 2nd day.
