How much boost for this setup?

Im running a 92 gsx. Current mods are mbc, 3in downpipe, test pipe, and exhaust, and a 2g maf and hard pipe. Im about to add in rc 550 injectors. I do not have any way to tune yet. How much boost can be ran on this setup?

Using stock 14b turbo

You can't run those injectors without a way to tune.

Get a way to tune/log and come back and ask that question.

While that sounds acurate, ive read on other post that you actually need to run these injectors with 2g maf. Seen several people running it this way.

Whoops...missed the comment on this being a 1g and not the 2g in your profile.

Then you'll want a logger to see what your IDC's are, as this will tell you how much boost you can run.

Ok not to sound like a newb, but can you explain what exactly idc are and recomend a few logging options?

Idc means injector duty cycle. Rule of thumb is you want to run your idc's to no more than 80% to keep you in the safe zone. All i can get out of them is 14psi on frank 3 20G. If your coming to pick them up from me today best way to get to me is taking HWY98 to HWY57
Go ahead and get Ecmlink, ive had it for a short time and it much much better than the piggy back setup i had. The learning curve isn't to bad either cause all the help from others here.

Yeah man ill be grabbing them. I know on a stock setup 16psi is cutoff. So im running 12-15. Just wanna know if i cab safely run 15-17. Dsmlink is in future plans. Dont like safc and such.

If your running a 14b i don't see why not. As stated above you'll need a logger of some sort to get the most out of them.

you'll be fine at 15-17 psi, but id atleast get a wideband to monitor your AFR's

15psi . Add boost till u knock or untill u max out the turbo on the dyno you will see it fall on its face fast. Save up for 16g if you wanna go above stock boost lvls.

I learned from my tuner this summer that Lucas/RC injectors are rated at 50psi of fuel pressure. What that means is in order for them to flow 550cc or whatever number they're rated, you need to bump up the base fuel pressure or use a non-turbo pressure regulator. At stock 1G fuel pressures RC550's wouldn't be much more potent than the stock injectors...so you could potentially run super-lean and cause a serious problem without a wideband and a way to long/tune.

With a T25....a turbo that is out of it's efficiency range at anything over stock boost levels. Unless you have a super-efficient intercooler, all you're doing is overheating the air charge and prematurely killing the turbo.
