How much boost can you run in a stock 7 bolt

If you have a good running motor (good timing belt, regular oil changes, good compression ect) you should have no problem running 400whp reliably I would say anymore than that things might start getting a little iffy.. And I'm saying 400whp with a very good tune

Now.. Im not sure how long your head gasket would hold with that power and your head bolts wouldn't like that either that's one thing I would be weary of

It's not how much boost but how much power the stock motor can handle. I was able to make 375 on a stock block with 121,000 miles. It is all very dependent n the tune and the initial condition on the engine.

Aside from checking up on all mainetnance items this is an irrelevant question. The engine might not be the frst failure. Is it a stock t-25 turbo? How is the clutch? What injectors? How are you tuning it?

I have a eclipse gst 96 7 bolt.

All engine internals are stock.

the car only has -

Evo III exhaust manifold
Front Mount Intercooler
External Wastegate
HKS Blow OFF
Walbro 255 Fuel Pump
Bigger fuel inyector dont know the size
Reflashed ECU
20g turbo

and im running 24psi daily use running strong :D a little rich to protect the internals but yeah !!!!!!

sorry if i write some words bad im from Puerto Rico.

How much boost can you run? All of it ROFL...... Na I have a 1g 7bolt and I run a bastard 20g at 18 psi with no problems at all. I'm about to crank it to 23 soon. Good luck with your car.

running a G35R turbo,880 injectors,precision external wastgate walbro 255,
running 18lb now,but very tempting 2 turn it up:sneaky:
as it is very easy for me to do..have greddy profec b-spec2 boost controler.
have a 18lb spring. so that is my low setting high have it to 24lb,but can max out to 36lb

You probably already know, but don't max it. I would'nt go past 25, thats just my thoughts.

Graveyarded for a series of reasons.

1) This topic has been WELL-covered. http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/newbie-forum/143197-max-safe-boost-merged-10-6-a.html

2) Your grammar and punctuation are atrocious and you need to do a little more reading of our rules before you post another thread...we speak in words here, not letters. kthxby

3) The thread has gone completely off-topic and turned into a matter of how long turbos spin after the engine is turned off, as if that means anything. Our cars don't idle at 3,000 by the way.
