I went to the FAQ but with the dial up connection at home i dont have all night to find out what the best fluid is....

Quickly, for The "Toronto Ontario climate" what type of Redline fluid would you guys suggest?

Also how much will i need?

Thanks for the help...

Blue: Have you tried BG Synchroshift?

IMO BG synchroshift is the best fluid for the DSM transmissions.

Hey guys,

Thanks for the help.

I may give the BG Syncroshift a try. If i can find it.

Does anyone know where to find the stuff in the T.O. area?

In my yahoo search i saw - maybe a GM dealer??

Thanks again

Does using a bit of shockproof hurt shift quality any? I tried it alone (big mistake I know now) & Now I run BG. I will be changing again in spring & may want to try the mix.

Yeah...you'll need to hit up a GM dealer fo rthe BG Syncroshift.

i personally run 2qts of the pennzoil synchroshift and .5qt of redline lightweight shock proof. i have had no issues with shifting whatsoever. the synchroshift is pretty thin and the shock proof clings to the gears for the 7k shifts.

Thanks, I was also considering syncroshift (to save cash) although, I should not change more than 1 variable at a time I s'pose.

Hey guys,

I called my local GM dealership - they have never heard of BG syncroshift...

Does anyone in Ontario know where to purchase.

I would like to purchase locally if possible.

Thanks again
