what kind of tranny fluid

hey i am going to change my tranny fluid, i got a 95 gs-t 5 speed. what wieght should i use? I can get a good deal on redline MT-90, synthetic, will that work? Or should i use another brand? thanks.

Thats what I use. Shifts like butter. Although during the winter I wish I would've gone with a mixture of MT-90 and MTL because it was kind of nothcy until it was warmed up, not too bad though. Go for the MT-90. Where in KS are you at?

It really doesn't matter so long as you're getting rid of the factory stuff. But Pennzoil Synchromesh is far and away the cheapest (<$5/quart, AutoZone) and very well-regarded by the inner sanctorum of the DSM cabal.

Pennzoil Synchromesh. if your using any kind of normal gear fluid youll be blown away once you change to a syncho type fluid, trust me, stay away from the redline fluid ive heard though.

Well, right now i am using regular stock fluid. but when i do my clutch and LSd install in a month or so, i am going to switch over to the Royale Purple fluid. I havent heard of a whole lot of people using it, but i am going to give it a shot anyways.
