I have a 93 body with the stereo that has the cd player below the radio, and no EQ.

93 talon tsi awd...how many watts is the head unit and how many watts are thos rear speakers? Mine are blown so I want to get some rear speakers that match the deck well. Although I will replace this deck in the future; I'll just get something that is close in terms of output when I do.

Anyone know what size my speakers are?

I don't know the specs of a stock radio but most aftermarket only put out 10-15 watts rms. Any speakers you get from best buy will be fine. Get some Alpine type-s speakers and you'll be good. You don't want to get anything better than that because you get into the range of power that needs an amp to be worth it.

I second the 15-25 rms on fmost aftermarket radios. Think about it, 15 watts is enough to power a small practice but loud guitar amp with 12" speaker... 50 watts is too easy to come by in the case of alpine type s, great quality speakers for the moey and stock option. 100 is the max I would go on speakers. the rest, a sub can handle. 100watts rms would make your speakers upgrade proof, and permanant for future mods like a real headunit, amps...etc.

Check crutchfield.com they are the most accurate place for sizing etc and have excellent customer support. It is the first place i go if price is not a matter. from there I get all my info and shop elsewhere if the prices are not satisfactory.
