Yes both warranty the workmanship that is done. The driver is the one who will make the trany last. Alot of the problems as well come form misajusted clutch rod (clutch engauges to close to the floor) and shifter cables.

Thats' just some of the extra work. They also mod oil passages, other shops don't do that.

I agree the way you drive and shift will determine how long it lasts overall. But I am just curious how long of a warantee comes with their transmissions.

IE: 90 day, 1 year, etc..?

I really dont choose any side in the tranny business I do believe that all the companies that are rebuilding for a living do it because they are good at it so dont get me wrong, but I did do some research before I did my re-build, John has a 7 second awd using the same tranny he sells on the market. He doesnt race for a living as you guys may know, if I chose john its for a reason. He is always there if you call (unless he is out there tearing up the track), He will work with you depending on the situation, and he is a very honest guy.
Plus he is really giving the honda guys somthing to think about before they open up their mouth and try to get me driving a honda:cool:

P.S If you ask him to he I think will autograph the tranny .:thumb:

All in all, choose your tranny wisely all of the rebuild work great. Reasearch and then come to a desicion I am just sharing my opinion.:thumb:

As soon as uncle sam sees fit, I'll have a stage 2 FWD trans from shep. Unfortunately, my turbo setup will also have to bear some of the cost. I'll see what I can pull at the track with this trans and my rebuilt 6 bolt >>>14b setup.

I should have made this investment the day after I bought my 2G.
