Depending on who did the porting, I'd say anywhere from $300-$800.

Used head, no bent valves.... $50-100
After market springs/Ti retainers.. $100
Unknow port work/ no flow sheet... $0.00
Bronze guides..........................$40
recent Valve job......................$75
new valves, Unknown brand.....-$20 (not SS Valves)

At best.... $225-275

If they are cheap, machine shop repalcement valves, to me are worth less than a head with Stock mitsu valves

The port work?? well if it was just some guy with a grinder, the head may flow worse than stock

Dang.. Well I guess ill just keep on looking for a stock 1g 6 bolt.

Didnt know there was proper way,to port a head LOL

Ohh there are many ways to screw up air flow thu the head.

Now if all that was done was a runner clean up and smooth and polish, that will not hurt, But if they went in with burrs and open up the cross section of the runner and ground on the short turn radius, then be leery.

How much are you trying to buy the head for?

The after market springs and retainers may be worth it.

What valves were used? stock style or some sort of stainless steel?

Not sure trying to find out. He also has a bone stock head for 40. Have to find out if its of a 1g or 2g since there different threads.

Thread? or do you mean Head bolt holes in the head?

The intake port size is the other big diffrence.
