So I’m assembling the components behind the dash, to include the AC evaporator. But in the evaporator assembly I did not see any hose or way to redirect water/ moisture 💧.

I assume all AC car units produce water as byproducts, so we’re does the water come from on our DSMs I’m a bit confused 😵‍💫 on how the water is made and directed towards the ground.

Isn't the one that is attached through the firewall, the L shape hose behind the passenger side strut tower?
L shape ?

So I had to look 👀 at both my assembled and disassembled DSMs to see what you mentioned.

I think I understand now, the evaporator assembly (the lower half) is the drip pan.
And it does appear to have an outlet for the (L shape hose) you mentioned.

Thanks for steering me in the right direction.

I just recently reinstalled all of my HVAC components. There is a small "L" shaped hose on the back side bottom of the middle box from your picture that goes through a hole in the firewall. It will be near the wire harness / fuel filter location. You can see the location in the attached picture between my wiring mess, fuel filter and rear motor mount.

I wanted to know, because I plan on redirecting this wasted water 💧 back into circulation to use as an aid for an intercooler sprayer.

I also have a meth kit for direct injection but wanted to capture some test results and imagine your AC helping lower your intake temps !
