I am looking into buying one of those scanners , I'm not sure if it will work on a very early 95, because the ebay posting that Artago put up ,says will work on 1996 and newer. I'm pretty sure that my car is odb2 but I would hate to waste my money on a scanner that doesn't work.
I am all so interested in how to count the blinks on a check engine light to diagnos the reason why my light is on.
Thank you for any help.

Well you have N/T so you should be able to use the turn key technique. I know cause I had a N/T before I got my TSi. Just google it and you should be set.

Regarding the Scan Tool. I have a early 95 TSi and I own that exact scan tool and it works great. So far I've used it successfully on a 95 Ford Contour, 03 Dodge Dakota, and 04 Eclipse. The ONLY car is didn't work on was a 04 RX-8.

Cheers,

Tom
