how do you hook up an mbc bleeder style

I've read that you are siupposed to hook a vacuum line up to the intake nippple, problem is i dont have one any ideas on what to do.

the way i have it set up is hooked to my nipple on my wastegate and on my nipple on my t25 housing, for you it would be the nipple on your j-pipe on your 14b turbo

make sure you leave your boost control cylnoid hooked pluged in and you plug or cap any other vac nipples you uncovered when installing the MBC and you should be golden

have fun

oh and a quater turn at a time for the boost and you better have a after market boost gague

Remember that a bleeder is a controlled leak in the boost reference line which causes the pressure at the WG actuator to be less (by a reliable amount) and thus raises the boost. This design - by design - introduces a leak into the system. To maintain a sealed intake system this leak should be routed back into the intake at the nipple on the aircan. In fact - the factory BCS is exactly a bleeder style system which is why it has a line going to the air-can. So the simplest way to install a bleeder style mbc is to reuse all the same lines that go to the bcs and just run them to the mbc instead. Then your source comes from the j-pipe and bleeds pressure to the intake before finally sending the signal to the wg-actuator.

That would work great for a ball and spring mbc, he has a BLEEDER style mbc.
You are basically running a vac line to the wga from the ic pipe, but your letting some of the boost bleed off so the wga doesnt "see" the actual boost, it see less so that it doesnt open the wg until you hit your selected psi.
SO;
You put a tee in between your ic nipple and your wga vacuum line then run the "empty" side of the tee to the mbc, then the other side of the mbc to your intake pipe nipple or somewhere after the maf, remember that is "metered" air that need to stay in the system, as it bleeds off to "fool" your wga.

the thing im saying is the only nipple i have is on my j pipe and wastegate. so that picture would not work unless i had another intake nipple

i dont have the stock intake and i have a gm maft

I would say that spring and ball is your only option then. They seem to work better anyway. I have this one and it works great:

NXS is the boost controler ive got and he is correct on the ball and spring and bleeder comment he wrote underneath my first post -- didnt read your inital post correctly

the NXS will work just fine for you
