How do you feel about having a DSM broken down in your yard?

Have you had your DSM sitting down for a while and knowing there is nothing you could do to get it on the road anytime soon eventhough you want to.

In my opinion I feel awful mines been sitting there for a month now because of burnt wiring harness that its been so difficult for me to find.

ECU took a shit on me... And now it just starts and dies and I've lost interest but I'm gonna work on it when I can/have to cause its my daily...

BOught it with 92xxx and now sits a year later with 95,1xx.. YAY FOR HUGE LAWN ORNAMENTS

I love it because it gives me something to do. You just gotta stay focused. If you love your car you'll get it done. I've had numerous ones sitting in my yard that I've always worked on no matter what. Turbo swaps at 4am in the rain. To me it's all been well worth it and I would do it again in a heart beat. If I didn't have the time nor the money I'd be getting a little upset about it.

Have you tried going to a junk yard. Look on ebay at tuner junkyard, email them if they dont have one for sale, they are awesome people they can probably help you out.

I tried but no luck.I have my hopes on one of our members wich seems to have it. So hopefully he'll overinite it to me thats will be excellent.

Mine is in the garage. It runs but needs registration and inspection. Unfortunately money isn't in the cards for it right now so I just have to watch it sit there knowing even though it runs I can't drive it.

mine has been setting for months now snapped crank to start with. then the tec went screwy after the rebuild and has a miss so it has to be trailerd about 4 hours so it can get checked over and retuned.i can rebuild just about anything but but messing with the tec is something i'm not sure of

I'm just done with rebuilding it every 6 months. you fix one thing. the other one breaks. its like a never ending cycle. 3 rebuilds in 2 years. bought all name brand stuff. expensive stuff on the market, had recommended mitsu shops build it, and still failed. I'm tired of it. i could have had my truck full built and running 11's by now.. I totaled up my lost in the passed 4 years...........$13,761.23..... only about 3 of that on bolt on's.

Thats why the only mechanic I trust for my car is myself I have rebuilt 7 engines already and none of those have ever given any problems I've been working with cars since I was 9 and honestly is something that I enjoy day and night eventhough the only thing holding me right now it this wiring I have already started to take it out to fix it my self I will probably post a pic tomorrow to show how badly it got burned

It sucks, My car has been parked for about 2 months, due to the hole in the block. When it is fixed though i enjoy it for however long it goes without breaking.

I'm going crazy, in my front yard I have 2-VRs, 1 talon, and 1 laser. Last week we just got rid of the 2nd laser. I have no room to park my dd which is a Suzuki XL7.
