2G How do i tell if I have a t-25 turbo

Hi how can I tell if I have a 14b or a t-25? I bought the car and I need an oil line but I have no idea what turbo this is.

What year and what is the serial number on the turbo?

T25 turbine wheel has 11 blades, T28 turbine wheel has 10 blades, and a Big28 turbine wheel has 9 blades

It's simple one sez "Garrett" mostly likey t25 and the other will say "TDO5H" most likely 14b or 16g depending on how the blades look.

for a refernce the "TD05" and "TD05H" only refer to the turbine wheels. both the 14B and 16G have TD05H cast into the compressor housing. So how do you tell them apart? Pull the MAF hose off of the turbo, and look at the blades of the compressor wheel. The 14B has all of the blades at the same level, while the 16G alternates high/low

Mine don't look like that its @ 95 eclipse. The number is 49178-01420. Its also says a tdo5h and it had a j-pipe also. this is my first dsm thx for the help.

and yea all of them are like that where the 3rd to last and 2nd to last are smaller

ok 2G models run the oil feed from the OFH, 1Gs are off the head

Usatuff thx for the help. Ima get the feed lime finaly. And I thought it was a 14b. I haven't been able to.run the car long enough to c how it is ### I had to replace the injectors then my alternator went out then I fixed that now and the plug wires are bad and now my feed line. Hopefully by next weekend it'll be ready to roll like new again.

It's no problem. While it is down check over everything else. The last thing you want to do is have all of this wok finally done and something minor fail. So while you have the time just check over things and clean somethings up

Yah I know ecen though its my weekend warrior but it'll be great to drive it at its full potential
