Hey i got my AWD:notgood: Megan Racing downpipe the other day, i tried putting it on and failed. So i brought it to an exhaust shop, they got it on but there was no room for the second nut to go on. Now i am stuck with this downpipe and i feel i have no way of getting it to work. Ive heard of people buying the Evo 3 o2 housing and the MR downpipe fitting up with no problems at all. How do i get this downpipe to work? Help please!

If you mean the actualy downpipe is obstructing the nut (As in, Hitting it), When you try to put it on, You need to dent in your downpipe where ever it is causing the problem.

Yes thats exactly what is happening. I was thinking about denting it but wasnt sure. How should i go about doing this?

ballpeen hammer, hit it really hard.....LOL
i dont know....find something to dent it somehow
i like the ballpeen hammer one though....

hey before you do that .... go to your local fasteners hardware store and get a thinner nut .... thats what i do for a living is sale nuts, bolts, screws, anything with a thread .... they should have a nut thats not as think .... i have them at my store .... if not go ahead and dent it

Its the stock o2 housing bolt and nut as well. How much smaller can i get the nut with the same threads?

Hi, the stock nut is HUGE, your going to want to get a smaller nut with the same thread size/pitch and a lock washer. Take the nut to a NAPA, ect and get a standard hex nut and lock washer and you should be good to go.
